Ghanaian artiste Wutah Kobby has said music is not a getaway. According to him, music is a career on its own and it is not something that you should just fall on when you try your hands at things and they don’t work.
Speaking to Heavy Dee in an interview on Keteke on Max 89.7 FM, Wutah Kobby said “So about the changes in music. Back in the days there use to be music being taught in schools. Now it’s no more being taught. It is no more taken as a priority. So people are experimenting which is good but they are swaying off the real knowledge of music and then some of the changes are as a result people not going through training.”
Known in real life as Daniel Morris Nyarko, Wutah Kobby emphasized that because people don’t go through a process and they struggle to become who they are today musically and they assume that everyone is supposed to go through that same hustle.
Wutah Kobby said “because people don’t go through a process and they struggle to become who they are today musically, they think that everyone is supposed to go through that same hustle and because of that people are not seeing music as a career, but like a get when they try something and it doesn’t work then music is the next thing.”
He further said “No disrespect to my street boys but it is not like when you try something and it doesn’t work or when you make money small nor then you think music is the next thing you have to do. Listen meennn, you guys are messing up our thing. It is not a getaway. Music has had its values and it will never change.
