2026 UFOA B U17: Ghana Drawn Against Hosts In Group A

Date:

The draw for the 2026 UFOA B U17 tournament, a qualifier for the U17 Africa Cup of Nations, took place on September 3 at the 04-Août Stadium in Ouagadougou, on the sidelines of the 2026–2027 Women’s Champions League matches.

The competition is scheduled for October 10–23, 2026, in Ouagadougou, bringing together seven nations from the Union of West African Football Associations (UFOA B).

Placed in Group A, Burkina Faso will be joined by Benin, Ghana, and Togo. Group B will consist of Côte d’Ivoire, Niger, and Nigeria.

The two finalists of the regional tournament will earn their spots in the final phase of the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations.

Burkina Faso, the host country and 2024 champion, will therefore aim for a spot in the final to qualify.

Defending champion Côte d’Ivoire will look to retain its title, while Ghana and Nigeria lie in wait.
