Travelling Overseas Won’t Make You Rich— Obeng Darko

Date:

You are ignorant if you think you’d have to seek greener pastures overseas before you become successful.

Don’t be stunned by the opening paragraph. It is simply the view of entrepreneurial guru Kwabena Obeng Darko.

While discussing the topic “Understanding Financial Systems”, Mr Obeng Darko rejected the common notion of the need to travel outside the country in order to be successful.

He advised people must seek knowledge and discipline on growing wealth.

He continued, questioning the logic of having structures developed in mountainous areas by residents overseas, which are unoccupied.

“When you go to Kwahu and other parts, you see big mansions which are empty because the owners are living outside the country,” he said on the Max Morning Show.
