RTP AWARDS 2020: MAX TV’S PHILIP SITSOFE ATSRIM WINS “TV SPORTS SHOW HOST OF THE YEAR”

Max TV’s Philip Sitsofe Atsrim, host of “The PL Show” has won the TV Sports Show Host of the Year at the 2019–2020 edition of the RTP Awards.

The “TV Sports Show Host of the Year 2019-2020” category nominees included the likes of Dan Kwaku Yeboah (UTV), Patrick Osei Agyemang, a.k.a. Songo (Adom TV), Nana Kwaku Mensah a.k.a. Kaninja (Angel TV), Michael Kofi Oduro (Metro TV), Juliet Bawuah (TV3) and Thierry Nyann (TV3). However, PL Show’s Philip Sitsofe Atsrim of Max TV was the ultimate on the night.

After a decade of honouring Ghana’s most renowned radio and television personalities, the 10th edition of the RTP awards took place over the weekend at Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel, on Saturday, 7th November, 2020. The well-attended show deserving media personalities presented with statuettes for excelling in their various categories in the year under review.

Hosted by Elvis Crystal and Roselyn Feli, the bill featured musical performances by Praye, Salina Boateng, Kidi, Epixode, Mr Drew, and Krymi among others.

Philip Sitsofe Atsrim hosts “The PL Show” a pre-match buildup and post-match review for the live broadcast of the (English) Premier League on Max TV, every Saturday.
