Renowned singer Kurl Songx has described his decision to have left his former label Highly Spiritual as a “mistake.”
According to him, the eagerness to do more and the words of people lured him to exit his former label.
Kurl Songx, in an interview with Max Drive in Accra on Tuesday, stated that as an artist who was quite young in the industry, he listened to people on how he could mold his craft at a swift pace to meet fans demands.
“I can just release a song today, and people will be asking, When are you going to release your next song? That made me do lots of things that later I realized were mistakes,” he said.
The “Jennifer Lomotey” hitmaker further indicated that he was also anxious to do more, hence curtailed the pressures around him to exit Kaywa’s label.
“As a young artist, when you’re coming up, the anxiety of doing more can make you take a decision that you will realize that you’ve made a mistake,” he added.
Kurl Songx admitted that his decision to exit the Highly Spiritual record label was hasty and begged Kaywa to resign him to the label.
Meanwhile, he has also released his latest song, “Na Gode,” a victory track for all Ghanaians and politicians.
Kurl Songx charged fans to stream it on all the digital platforms, stressing that “lots of things” were in the pipeline for them.
