The Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) and its Executive Council (ExCo) have earned widespread praise for the smooth and highly successful organization of the 2024/25 Soccabet Division Two Middle League Finals, which culminated in a thrilling climax at the Teshie McDan Park.
The event, hailed by stakeholders, fans, and sponsors alike, showcased the best of grassroots football and reaffirmed GARFA’s reputation as a model for regional football governance in Ghana.
Led by Chairman Samuel Aboabire (KATAA), the ExCo members worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure a well-coordinated, secure, and exciting tournament. Their efforts were reflected in the vibrant atmosphere, strong attendance, timely match scheduling, and engaging fan experiences throughout the league.
“We are deeply grateful to everyone—clubs, officials, fans, sponsors, and the media—who contributed to making this season’s Middle League a true celebration of community football,” said Chairman Aboabire. “This success belongs to all of us.”
The final saw Great Ambition FC emerge champions after a dramatic penalty win over Asanska FC, earning promotion to Division One Zone 3. But beyond the footballing results, the event’s organization highlighted the professionalism and unity of GARFA’s leadership.
Sponsors including Soccabet, Ashilid, and Game TV were also lauded for their continued commitment to developing Ghana’s football from the ground up.
As the region shifts focus to the next season, GARFA’s commitment to grassroots development, club licensing, and youth competitions remains a cornerstone of its vision.
