The French league announced on Thursday that Kylian Mbappé’s outstanding wages of 55 million euros ($61 million) had been ordered to be paid by Paris Saint-Germain by the legal commission of the league.
A day after the France star turned down the commission’s offer of mediation in his conflict with his old club, the league announced the decision without providing any other information.
Following Mbappé’s request for the commission to become involved, PSG officials and Mbappé’s agents met in Paris on Wednesday. Mbappé signed a free transfer to Real Madrid this summer.
The France striker requested that the commission take notice of the non-payment of three months’ wages and the final third of a loyalty incentive, according to Mbappé’s representatives after the meeting.
