VIP Jeoun Transport Release New Fares

VIP Jeoun Transport has announced a substantial upward adjustment in fares for both its executive coach and standard tour services, effective Wednesday, April 8, 2026.

The new fare lists, released by management on Tuesday, cover 42 routes for executive coaches and 33 routes for the standard tour category. The company confirmed that this marks its first fare review since April 2024.

For executive coach passengers travelling from Accra to Kumasi, the new fare is GH¢150, while the same journey on a standard tour bus will cost GH¢120. The Accra to Tamale route has been set at GH¢360 for executive class and GH¢290 for standard.

The highest executive fare on the list is the Accra to Kulungugu route at GH¢460. Other notable executive fares include Accra to Hamile at GH¢450, Accra to Bawku at GH¢430, Accra to Navrongo and Paga at GH¢420 each, and Accra to Bolgatanga at GH¢410.

On the standard tour list, the most expensive route is Accra to Garu at GH¢350, followed by Accra to Bawku at GH¢340 and Accra to Bolgatanga at GH¢330.

Intercity routes from Kumasi have also been adjusted. For executive coaches, Kumasi to Tamale now costs GH¢210, Kumasi to Wa GH¢240, and Kumasi to Kulungugu GH¢300. On the standard tour from Kumasi, Tamale is priced at GH¢170 and Wa at GH¢190.

Other affected executive routes from Accra include Sunyani (GH¢200), Takyiman (GH¢200), Sampa (GH¢230), Dormaa (GH¢220), Drobo (GH¢220), Kintampo (GH¢220), Nkoranza (GH¢210), Sefwi Juaboso (GH¢220), Ahafo Goaso (GH¢200), Dunkwa-on-Offin (GH¢190), Asante Mampong (GH¢170), Obuasi (GH¢180), and Wassa Akropong (GH¢200).

Standard tour fares from Accra include Sunyani (GH¢170), Wenchi (GH¢180), Drobo (GH¢180), Dunkwa (GH¢160), Diaso (GH¢180), Tarkwa (GH¢150), Takoradi (GH¢120), Cape Coast (GH¢110), Enchi (GH¢190), Asankragua (GH¢180), and Samreboi (GH¢190).

VIP Jeoun Transport, established in 2008, operates modern air-conditioned 42-seater coaches from major terminals in Accra and Kumasi, connecting cities across Ghana, including Tamale, Sunyani, Takyiman, Wa, Bolgatanga, and Bawku.

Management has urged passengers to take note of the revised fares, which take effect from Wednesday, April 8, 2026.
