Stonebwoy reigns over sound with historic BHIMFEST 2026 in London

Date:

Ghana’s music gained international admiration as the finest Afro-dancehall music god reigned over sound during the much-anticipated BHIMFEST 2026.

‎The event which took place at the iconic OVO Arena Wembley in London on Saturday, August 15, was the maiden expansion of the BHIM Festival since its inception in Ghana.

‎It has also become the first sold-out concert headline by a Ghanaian artiste amidst the failed attempts of other local musicians.

‎Known for its vast and famous 12,500 seats, Stonebwoy is the current Ghanaian musician to have successfully filled the capacity to the brim with his music, fireworks of his voice and strong presence.

‎Stonebwoy didn’t just treat patrons to his refined cultural music but also made history with the iconic freedom and justice figure he carried to the stadium to depict Ghana’s biggest night of music in London, whilst setting the freedom tone for any artist to carry his mantra.

‎He got patrons to stand and mimic him as he sang songs which resonate with them.

‎Stonebwoy did not only promote Ghana but also headlined the concert to promote solid African music and artistes and create an enabling musical environment and international opportunities for upcoming artists like Agbeshie and Keeny Ice, who gained recognition to expose their “Xosetor” sound to a much wider audience.

‎This was his token to help young talent flourish whilst helping the world to put an image to some viral sounds they had danced to on social media with the presence of DopeNation on the stage.

‎He respectfully honoured his godfather, Samini, under whom he once worked to electrify fans with his classic vibes.

‎Stonebwoy brought together both Ghanaian and Nigerian artists on one stage to promote collaborations whilst selling rich African musical content to the world.

‎His ideas, crafts, performances and introduction of both young and giant musicians to settle on one stage also went a long way to promote unity through sounds.

‎A great history he has set amidst debates which took the country by storm following the cancellations of various concerts set in London.

‎Stonebwoy has set a pace with his team to make that dream of marketing Ghanaian and African music worldwide visualised.
