Highlife musician Fameye has confessed that he sought after spiritual aid in an attempt to blow early in the industry.
According to him, he bought handkerchiefs and oils from renowned men of God to support him in his musical career.
Speaking in a recent media interview, the “Nothing I Get” hitmaker stated that though he followed the directions given, he believed his hard work brought him the fame he was currently enjoying.
“Back then, I had one person who told me to pay some pastors for oils and handkerchiefs. I later realized that I worked hard, and I didn’t think all these I had been doing paid off at that point,” he said.
He said that when his music career started, he had the least clue on how things would work, hence he followed the idea of seeking spiritual assistance for fast fame.
Fameye maintained that the oil, handkerchiefs, and spiritual directions did not serve their purpose in his musical journey.
“They were not working. How would I even know? Maybe it’s now reflecting because it’s been a long time since I’ve been there. Moreover, it’s only God that can come to my rescue.”
“Besides, I cannot give specifications to one particular church whose oil or handkerchief might have worked for me because I have gone to a lot of churches,” he added.
Fameye then charged young musicians to work hard for recognition.
