2026 Commonwealth Games: Here are Ghana’s gallant athletes

Ghana is set to rock the Commonwealth Games once again and this time, achieve higher records.

The 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, was Ghana’s best-ever display at an athletic competition since Kuala Lumpur 1998.

Abraham Mensah(Boxing) and Joseph Commey(Boxing) won silver medals, while Abdul Wahid Omar(Boxing), Joseph Paul Amoah(Men’s 200m), and Deborah Acquah(Women’s Long Jump) won bronze medals.
