Fast-rising Gospel diva Nsroma Music says the Ghanaian gospel industry is developing in the right way and expressed the need for more impactful songs to meet international standards.
According to her, the industry is gaining visibility and the onus lies on the gospel musicians to do more deeper works for the needed international recognition.
Speaking in an interview on the Max Morning Show in Accra on Monday, the “Note from God” hitmaker stated that the industry was evolving and undergoing numerous changes that would benefit it.
”Gospel industry has evolved. When I compare it to 2013, when I started music, I can see vast change. There are formidable artists and lots of great gospel shows in the system. There have been lots of activities and a lot of growth unlike before and then, visibility outside Ghana is going well,” she mentioned.
Nsroma Music cited international collaborations and social media as the driving force that has shaped the industry narrative.
In moving forward, she charged gospel musicians to do more impactful songs to help the industry to gain the needed international recognition it has long been yearning for.
Nsroma Music is known in real life as Nsroma Delanyo Amoateng, She was formerly known in the industry as Boadiwaa until she rebranded to Nsroma after life tussles.
She is a song writer and recording artist who has released a new track “His Word” and released her nine-track debut album in 2013 with songs like “Adom” and “Eye Onoa” becoming the greatest hits on the album.
