PARIS 24 Q: Black Queens dominate Guinea in Conakry

Date:

The Black Queens’ impressive 3-0 win against Guinea in the first leg of their African qualifiers first-round clash is a great start to their quest for qualification to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France.

The Ghanaians showed their dominance early on with goals from Vivian Adjei Konadu and Doris Boaduwaa in the first half. This gave them a significant advantage going into the second half.

In the 72nd minute, Evelyn Badu scored with a superb strike to extend Ghana’s lead to 3-0, sealing a delightful victory for the Black Queens away from home.

Head coach Nora Hauptle has been instrumental in the team’s success, as the Black Queens have won all four international matches since her appointment.

Now, with the first leg behind them, the Black Queens will return from their trip and begin preparations for the eagerly awaited reverse fixture scheduled for July 18.

With their convincing victory in the first leg, the team will be brimming with confidence as they aim to secure their spot in the Olympic Games in Paris.
