Real Madrid star Marc Cucurella has confirmed he will still go through with the promise or bet he made before the final.

After Spain’s triumph at the 2026 World Cup, the 27-year-old defender confirmed he will indeed get his coach Luis de la Fuente’s face tattooed on him.

Cucurella had an outstanding tournament and was one of the key architects of La Roja’s world title.

Rock-solid at the back and dangerous with his attacking runs, he also registered three assists. His performances earned him a spot in the tournament’s best XI.

“I’m going to do it! I just need to pick the spot. It’s going to be somewhere really visible,” he said after Spain’s triumph.
