Hamza Mohammed has urged the management of Kumasi Asante Kotoko to retain Karim Zito as head coach of the club.
The former U-20 AFCON-winning coach, Zito, was originally appointed as the technical director; he was also tasked to steer the club to a title-winning finish as an interim head coach.
Former head coach of Ghana Premier League side Tamale City, Hamza Mohammed, said, “he should be the head coach for next season and beyond because his performances so far have proved he can do the job.”
With Kotoko already in the final of the 2024-25 MTN FA Cup, Zito will be hoping his team manages the unthinkable by beating second-placed on the league table, Bibiani Gold Stars, in matchweek 32 this Sunday, May 25, 2025, to move top if Nations FC should record a loss.
