Ghana Premier League newcomer Debibi United will report Bibiani GoldStars head coach to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) over negative comments.

Petros Koukouras, the head coach of the former league champions likened the home pitch of Debibi United to that of a cassava plantation field.

Alexander Ababio, Chief Executive Officer of Debibi, disclosed on Max TV’s GPL Headquarters show that a formal complaint will be launched to the GFA over the comments.

Disappointed by Koukouras’ comment, Mr Ababio said such comments tarnish the image of the league, especially in the period in which clubs desperately look for sponsors.

GoldStars’ foreign coach made his unfortunate remark following his side’s 1-0 away defeat to Debibi on matchday seven.
