Transfer Talk: Liverpool keen on Dutch-born Ghanaian

Liverpool FC have identified their ideal replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold as he heads to Madrid to join the defending European champions Real Madrid.

The Englishman has been linked to the Spanish giants for two seasons as he is viewed to be the heir to Dani Carvajal.

With this knowledge, Liverpool have singled out Dutch wing-back Jeremie Frimpong of Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen.

The Dutch-born player of Ghanaian heritage was previously touted to join Manchester United during the era of former manager, Erik ten Hag.

Though Conor Bradley has put in a good shift during the absence of Trent Alexander-Arnold, the youngster surely does not compare to the wealth of experience, 23-year-old Frimpong possesses.
