THE HEIRESS: Tonight (Friday 17TH) On Episode 137

Date:

Myrna insisted on going with her husband to look for Jessa at her old residence.

Mikoy told Cassie about the endorsement Marga was going for since she really needed the money. Meanwhile, Marga hadn’t even made it halfway through her audition when the interviewers, who had been whispering among themselves, interrupted her and told her that they would call her if she made the cut.

Marga insisted on having an answer right at the spot and they told her that their brand didn’t want to be associated with her name because of the issue her mom was involved in.

Romina received a package at Camila, an envelope which contained photos of the night she had been raped. “Why did you send it to me again?” Mina thought to herself. “Is there something I’m not seeing in these pictures?”

Daniela went to another friend and lobbied her into hiring her at her company, Topson Corporation. Meanwhile, Carlos approached Romina and asked whether Leon was courting her. Romina threw the answer in his face, disgusted as he went on about their past relationship and how he only wanted to help her.

“I’ll give you a chance,” Mina said. “Find out where Daniela’s hiding Alvin.”

Bernard ran into Carlos on his way out and tried talking some sense into him about leaving Romina alone. They then discussed about Alvin. “He disappeared before the cops came. I have a bad feeling about this. It’s like somebody helped him escape. And I think I know who it is.”

“Who?”

“Leon.”

Over the phone, Leon agreed to follow through with the plan of the unidentified caller as long as they kept their word and allowed him to see Paco. A flashback revealed Paco to be Leon’s son, a little boy who had gotten himself arrested by the police for stealing because of his father’s sudden conversion into a miserable drunkard after the deaths of his wife and daughter. “Where’s Paco?”

THE HEIRESS

Kulas and Myrna found Jessa’s sister, who asked them why they were looking for Jessa. Kulas introduced himself as her sisters ‘living partner’. The look the girl gave the miserable one-eyed-old man was priceless.

Mikoy thanked Cassie for giving him a ride home. Cassie ran into Nanny Esther and she told her about her intention of teaching at Navotas again. Esther then offered to look for a place for her where she would teach the kids. Marga came over and Cassie had to ask why she had skipped school today. And this is where I fast-forward cause I’ve already heard my fair share of crap today.

Daniela was still putting on a show of pride despite the fact that, Ranolin, her friend had pulled some strings and managed to get her into her company. “I’m sure I’m even overqualified for the position you’ll give me. Marketing head? Managerial position?”

“No. An assistant,” Ranolin said.

Danny girl ranted, and Ranolin told her to go home and fix up her requirements. Daniela then had a call from her husband, asking that they meet and talk.

Kulas was surprised to learn of how Jessa had been a nightclub performer in Japan, and had even applied to an agency based in the country known as Rising Sun.

Marga lied through her teeth when Mikoy asked her about her audition. As she tried chasing him away, her stomach grumbled from hunger. Mikoy insisted on cooking and teaching her as well so she wouldn’t go hungry and be such an ass. Sparks flew as Marga watched him in action.

Carlos treated his adorable wife to some food, glad that she hadn’t been having any cravings. Daniela asked the reason for their meetup, and Carlos asked if she knew knew Leon since she’d been in the business industry for years. “Have you met him before?”

“No. I had him investigated, and that guy has a lot of stories to tell.”

“Why?”

“Let’s just say that I’m glad he and Romina met. Judging by his background, he can’t be trusted. I’m telling you. He will be the downfall of Romina.”

Romina walked into her office to find the not-so-romantic dinner Leon had set up.

Treacherous Leon (can anyone give me a nickname, please? I need suggestions) was happy to know that Cassie respected his relationship with her mom. Leon then gave her a gift – a golden necklace. Romina said she couldn’t accept it and Leon told her to start wearing it the moment she was ready to let him into her life.

Carlos spied on Leon as he was talking over the phone about Romina.

Cassie was setting up to teach the kids at Navotas when Mini-Daniela came over to grace the atmosphere with her undying toxicity. Sorry, guys. I didn’t even bother listening to a single word.

Daniela actually went to Topson Corporation without any of her requirements. Danny girl said her name alone was enough. She began arguing with one of the employees who was supposed to train her for her position, saying that she had already made her mark before she entered the industry.

“That’s right,” the woman said. “You’ve proven that you can drive a company bankrupt. That’s why we need to train you.”

“You better take that back.”

“No.”

“Do it.”

“I said no…”

Danny girl slapped the woman and started pulling at her hair. A good old one sided catfight.

Ironically enough, Romina was staring at Robert’s portrait and asking for guidance on what to do about Leon, rambling on about the countless times he had been there for her. She asked her departed husband for a sign. A butterfly came flying inside, resting on a decoration. Clueless Mina was smiling. The poor thing had taken it as a sign of good fate. Ewww.

Carlos caught Leon discussing with someone about Romina. As he fished out his phone, possibly to take a photo, it fell to the ground, revealing his presence in the process. Leon came over to ask what he was doing there. Carlos greeted him with a punch and demanded to know what he was planning. The other guy he had been talking with earlier had suddenly disappeared. Carlos vowed to tell Romina.

Daniela had been dragged to the police station after assaulting the Topson employee. The woman mocked her with how she was a nobody now and deserved to be arrested. Danny girl called Savannah and asked her to have her bailed out. Savvy wasn’t willing to help her though since she didn’t want her marriage to fall apart.

After failing to convince miss China to hire her, Marga resorted to taking over the position of a girl who had just been fired by her boss. “I guess you need a new employee.”

“Who are you?” the man asked.

“Your new waitress. Margaret Bartolome.” ()

Paco packed up his stuff happily, eager to go home. He was however gloomy to see the person who had come to pick him up. It wasn’t his dad. Only a slight profile of the person showed on camera (But I’m sure about 99% of us know who it was. Spoiler Alert! It starts with an ‘h’ and has the words – criminal, psycho, murdering b*stard written all over him.)

Carlos stormed into Romina’s office and rambled on about the conversation Leon had been having with someone earlier.

Kristoff was watching a romantic movie of Ronnie Alonte (Ivan from TGD) He looked on sadly and flashed back to his time with Cassie at Esther’s birthday party. Unable to take the torture anymore, Kristoff turned off the TV and tried to organize his basketball buddies for a hangout. The guys were unavailable though. Sparks flew as he saw an online post of Cassie. Next stop, Navotas.

“Where are you going?” Bernard asked.

“I’m just going to visit some friends.” (LIAR)

Marga was in deep sh*t as a customer kept insisting that she had gotten his order wrong. The boss came over and sweet-talked the miserable man. He then promoted Marga from a waitress to a dishwasher.

Leon, the shameless man entered Romina’s office and greeted Carlos with a punch. Romina played referee and refused to believe a single word Carlos said. She announced that she and Leon were now a couple. She then had security escort him out. Leon was triumphantly excited to see that she was wearing the necklace he had given her before. (I’ll be Damned. We all what this means, don’t we?)

Marga was whining over the unending number of plates she had to wash as another employee came to add more to the lot. She held one of the plates over a dustbin as if it was some kind of contagious disease, trying her best to wipe the leftovers into it. The plate fell right into the dustbin and she quickly went to wash her hands. “Yuck. This is so gross.”

Kristoff arrived at Navotas and launched into a conversation with Cassie about her plan of teaching the kids. Meanwhile, Marga put on a pretence of mopping the floor as she noticed the boss coming into the kitchen. The boss noticed the plate that had been dumped in the dustbin. Since Marga looked like she was working so diligently, he blamed the other guy, scolded him and sent him into his office for round 2. Mini-Daniela gloated.

Caution : The following scene might be disgusting to some of you. Well, at least it’s disgusting to me.

Romina was tending to Leon’s bruised cheek as he kept on mumbling some nonsensical things. (I might be designing his pretty face with a screwdriver. But I can’t, can I?)

“What you told Carlos, is it true?” Leon asked. “You didn’t just say that to make him leave?”

Romina smiled and nodded.

“Thank you, Romina.” Leon hugged Mina. (Ewww. Can someone please break them up already?)

Back at Navotas, Kristoff discussed with Cassie about how her life was now going back to normal gradually and how Leon was like her second dad.

“What makes you say that?” Cassie asked.

“Because he’s always there for you. He also told me himself.”

“He talked to you?”

“Yeah. He asked me how to get closer to you. He asked me about your favorite food.”

“What did you tell him?”

“You always ate with your dad. You know, ice cream, crab roe.”

Cassie was in disbelief. “You told him about that?”

“Yeah? Did I do something wrong?”

“Yes. Tope, I believed him because of you. I thought he was like dad. You shouldn’t have done that.” Cassie turned away, contemplating as Kristoff looked on dejectedly.

Bonita walked in on Romina and Leon sharing another disgusting hug. She asked whether they were a couple now and Mina said they’d talk about it later since she had a meeting to attend.

Now alone in Romina’s office, Leon made a single phone call. “The plan worked. Let’s meet up.”
