Artiste manager Lawrence Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bullgod, has voiced out his grievances following the latest outburst of his former artiste Shatta Wale over their ongoing defamation lawsuit.
Their dispute stems from a 2022 lawsuit filed by Bullgod after Shatta Wale publicly accused him of being involved in the 2014 murder of Fennec Okyere, former manager of rapper Kwaw Kese.
Shatta Wale also accused Bullgod of hypocrisy, claiming he was being sued despite Bullgod leaking unreleased songs from his album.
Shatta also voiced frustration with the judicial system, even threatening judges involved in the case.
In an interview to respond to Wale’s claims, Bullgod dismissed the allegations, clarifying that he only shared a tracklist containing publicly known song titles.
“Does he have proof of what he said? I have proof of serving him a writ of summons,” he said.
Bullgod highlighted the emotional toll of the accusations made by Shatta Wale and criticized his irresponsible act.
“Fennec was my friend. He ate in my house. My wife cooked for him. Shatta doesn’t know the full story but talks anyhow,” he stated, adding that he could have sued Wale for millions but chose not to.
Bullgod further revealed that Wale had privately sought help from the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to mend relations for a performance opportunity.
“He should stop playing gangster because he will come back and beg again,” he asserted.
