RELEGATION: Kotoku Royals gone

Date:

Oda based Kotoku Royals have been relegated from the Ghana Premier League with four games to spare.

Their status confirmed on Sunday following a 2-0 defeat to Great Olympics at the WAFA Park.

Isaac Mensah and Michael Osei scored for Great Olympics in the 44th and 55th minutes, respectively.

Kotoku Royals  are now 15 points behind 17th place King Faisal with just four games to end the campaign.

The relegation of Kotoku Royals is a huge disappointment for the football community in the Eastern region.

But coach of the side John Eduafo has vowed to give his all in the remaining games despite knowing their fate on Sunday.
