The Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) will proudly host a major media launch at the Ghalca Conference Hall in the Accra Sports Stadium, celebrating its sponsorship partnership with one of the largest betting companies, Soccabet, for the Second Division League in the 2024-2027 season.
The event will welcome media personnel and invited guests to celebrate this pivotal partnership. Mr. HHD Adika will lead the opening prayer, setting a respectful tone for the proceedings. Shortly after, Mr. George Aforklenyuie, a GARFA board member, will extend a warm welcome, acknowledging the distinguished guests present.
Key industry figures will then take the stage, including Mr. George Yankson, CEO of Ashlid Sports, Mr. Kobby Ampong, Marketing Manager at Soccabet, and Alhaji Fadi Fattal, who will discuss the importance of sponsorship in local football. Mr. Samuel Aboabire, GARFA’s Chairman, will conclude the addresses by emphasizing the league’s potential.
The official signing of the sponsorship contract will follow, with a handshake sealing the partnership between GARFA and Soccabet, witnessed by key board members. A dummy cheque will be presented alongside the unveiling of the league logo, highlighting a new era for the Second Division League.
The event will continue with the presentation of footballs by Ashlid Sports, followed by a session for media questions, fostering an open dialogue about the league’s future. Mr. Aforklenyuie will conclude the formalities with closing remarks, followed by a closing prayer.
