Hon. Baffour Awuah incited violence – Nii Darko alleges

Date:

Kotoko supporter Seth Nii Darko has blamed the owner of Nsoatreman FC, Ignatius Baffour Awuah for the death of Nana Pooley.

According to multiple eyewitness accounts, including that of Nii Darko’s, the owner of the home team allegedly instigated his fans to eject Nana Pooley from the stadium.

Nii Darko recounted on the Sports Pack Show on Max FM that the former Minister for Employment and Labour Relations was mocked by Nana Pooley for losing the 2024 parliamentary elections.

This, Nii Darko said, irritated the former Minister who instructed the acting General Manager of Nsoatreman, among others, to ensure the deceased, Nana Pooley, left the stadium, leading to his murder.

Joel Gyempeh, the Communication Director, vehemently rejected reports of the owner of the club being the instigator of the violence that ensued at the Nana Kronamansah Park on Sunday, February 2, 2025.
