A teenager at Kwahu Tafo has died after being stabbed by a friend over an undisclosed amount of money.
The deceased, identified as Isaac Gorman, was stabbed in the neck by a supposed close friend, Stephen Opuni.
The Gorman family are struggling to come to terms with the sudden death of their beloved, who happens to be a final-year student of St. Joseph Technical Institute.
Ebenzer Gorman, brother of the deceased, has since spoken on how Isaac died on the account of his nieces, who had witnessed the encounter.
“My little nieces, who witnessed the incident, narrated the whole matter. According to them, Kwasi was with four of his friends. Suddenly, an altercation ensued over money, and they saw Akwasi hold his neck area and kept screaming that he had been stabbed. They were all students,” he said.
Police in Kwahu Tafo acted swiftly to arrest the suspect, “Sugar,” who is currently in custody and assisting with investigations.
