Ghana’s Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, has once again demonstrated his commitment to national health and wellness by spearheading the latest edition of “A Walk with Julius”—a flagship initiative aimed at encouraging preventive healthcare and healthy living across the country.
The recent walk, held at Trassaco Phase 2, attracted a wide cross-section of participants, including figures from sports, politics, business, and the media. Their presence gave weight to the symbolic and action-driven nature of the initiative, which continues to gain momentum nationwide.
Addressing participants, Mr. Debrah emphasized the importance of walking as a shared national discipline. He urged public officials, civil servants, entrepreneurs, and young people to adopt walking not only for its physical benefits but also for its impact on mental clarity, stress reduction, and long-term wellness.
“This is more than exercise—it’s a movement toward a healthier, more productive Ghana. Let’s make walking a national culture,” he stated.
The event reinforced a powerful message: health is national wealth. As lifestyle-related illnesses continue to rise, “A Walk with Julius” reminds Ghanaians that consistent, intentional movement can transform lives and strengthen the nation’s human capital.
The Chief of Staff’s initiative continues to serve as both a call to action and a practical solution to Ghana’s growing public health challenges.
