#BlackStarsAbroad: Yeboah nets third league goal as Forson, Thomas-Asante lose

Date:

Ransford Yeboah continues his fantastic start to the 2024-25 Bundesliga 2 season as Hamburger SV drew 1-1 with Hertha Berlin on Saturday, August 10.

Yeboah scored his third goal in the second game of the season after opening the scoring in the 11th minute, but with just four minutes left until the end of the game, former Liverpool player Jonjoe Kenny equalized for Berlin.

In the opening weekend of the English Football Championship, Amankwah Forson made his debut from the bench for Norwich City as they lost to Oxford United.

He came on at the start of the second half, replacing Liam Gibbs when his side were already a goal down, and received a yellow card a minute before conceding again.

Brandon Thomas-Asante came on for his first match for Coventry City in their 1-0 away loss to Stoke City.

Former Chelsea youngster Lewis Baker scored the only goal of the game in the 78th minute, handing his side all three points.

Fatawu Issahaku was in action for Leicester City as they lost 3-0 to RC Lens in a friendly at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis.

Samed Abdul Salis was an unused substitute as Switzerland international Kevin Danso scored the opener before Angelo Fulgini’s double sealed the win for the Ligue 1 side.
