2024 ELECTIONS: Davido joins Ghana to celebrate John Mahama

Nigerian musician Davido has joined celebrities in Ghana to congratulate John Dramani Mahama, following his apparent victory in the December 7, 2024, elections.

His victory became visible in a media projection and after his political rival, Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia conceded defeat.

In a tweet shared with his millions of followers, Davido celebrated the news with a simple yet jubilant post to share Ghana’s joy.

He posted emojis of the flag of Ghana and humans celebrating, he then tagged the President Elect, John Dramani Mahama.

His joyous  message has since gone viral, sparking a wave of reactions from fans and political supporters alike.

Meanwhile, the official results from the Electoral Commission are expected shortly to confirm the outcome of the elections.
