President-elect of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, in light of his victory, sent a delegation to Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The provisional results by the early hours of Sunday, December 8, 2024, indicated a landslide win for the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama.
With the projection of the provisional results, Mr Mahama’s main opponent, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, conceded defeat to his rival.
In a video sighted on social media, a seven-man delegation presented themselves to Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, as Kumasi shared in the joy of the incoming first gentleman of the land.
