Kurt Edwin Simeon Okraku becomes the sixth Ghanaian to become a member of the Executive Committee at the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The Ghana Football Association president, Kurt Okraku, would have a four-year term from 2025 to 2029 after he was elected unopposed at the ongoing 14th CAF General Assembly.
He joins 24 other powerful decision-makers for African football on the Executive Committee.
The Ghana Football Association, in their announcement of his success, eulogised the president’s efforts in enhancing transparency, promotion of grassroots, and women’s football.
GFA Executive Council member reckoned his election onto the Committee is extremely crucial to the development of Ghanaian football.
