We will stop Kotoko from winning league—Opare Addo

Date:

Hearts of Oak’s Public Relations Manager, the enigmatic Kwame Opare Addo, has sounded a word of caution to his club’s fiercest rival, Asante Kotoko.

The two biggest traditional clubs in Ghana’s history will rekindle their eternal rivalry on Sunday, May 4, 2025 at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Opare Addo warned during an interview on Max FM’s Sports Pack show that Hearts of Oak would dent Kotoko’s hopes of winning the 2024—25 Ghana Premier League.

“Once they plan to go through us to win the league title, we would make sure it never happens,” he said to Nana Darkwa Gyasi.

Asante Kotoko lie fourth on the Ghana Premier League standings with three points adrift of leaders, Bibiani Gold Stars.
