Steve McClaren, head coach of the Reggae Boyz of Jamaica, is wary of the good squads of Ghana and Nigeria at the Unity Cup.
The Reggae Boyz kicked off the 2025 Unity Cup campaign with a statement-making 3-2 victory over Caribbean rivals Trinidad and Tobago to reach the finals, where they may face either Ghana or Nigeria.
McClaren, speaking at the post-match press conference on Tuesday night, said, “I have not seen a lot of either team [Ghana and Nigeria], apart from that they’ve got good players and squads.”
The Black Stars of Ghana will square off with the longest rival in African football, Nigeria, on Wednesday, May 28, at 6:45 p.m. live on Max TV.
