“My family was purposely targeted. There’s someone who wants us all dead. He is Alvin Mangubat. Do everything you can to catch him. I almost lost my daughter and brother. Alvin needs to pay.”
The Mondragons said their goodbyes for their move abroad. Meanwhile, Daniela was glad that they were leaving, confident that she could reclaim the company. Nanny Esther came to inform her that Marga hadn’t come home since last night. Danny girl then had a call from Myrna.
The Mangubat brothers were planning to have their revenge on the Mondragons. Meanwhile, Marga woke up and asked Mikoy how she had gotten to the house. Mikoy said he had brought her because she had been wasted last night.
“Did you?…”
Mikoy smiled. “What do you think? You puked all over your dress.”
Marga was in disbelief. “Are you serious?” she said, grabbing a pillow and pounding him with it. “Mikoy. I’m going to kill you.”
“Relax. Your grandma changed your clothes. Not me.”
Robert had a talk with Bernard, charging him to ensure the safety of Romina and Cassie since Hector posed a threat. He then told him to have them transferred to a different flight. A moment later, Bernard called Romina and asked her to be careful and keep an eye out for Hector since he was out to get her.
Alvin passed on an explosive to a goon, who hid it in a traveling bag. As Mikoy shared a moment with Marga, Daniela stormed in and started making a scene. An argument ensued, and like before, it ended with a slap. After Marga stormed off, Daniela had a surprise, mocking call from Hector.
After Romina had changed flights and settled the bill, Neil had their luggage taken outside. The goon switched their bag. Romina rushed out on account of Cassie’s shouts. Cassie informed her mom and Romina went after the scumbag to retrieve their bag. She however stopped dead in her tracks, recalling Bernard’s warning.
Romina hurried back but she wasn’t able to get to them in time. “Cassie. Neil. Cassie, run! Run!! Run!!!”
Alvin activated the bomb via a phone call. It went off and the explosion laid waste to everyone. A moment later, Bonita walked in on the carnage. She found Romina and managed to revive her. Romina found her daughter and brother unconscious. She called out for help, pleading with the EMTs to save her daughter and brother.
Cassie and Neil were wheeled into the emergency room to be treated among the other injured victims. Romina was inconsolable, telling the Tejadas about the incident, and hoping for her daughter and brother’s survival. Meanwhile, the Mangubats were celebrating the supposed deaths of the Mondragons.
“Why don’t we get revenge on the person who made us suffer?” Alvin suggested. “Daniela. How should we make her pay?”
On account of Hector’s call earlier, Daniela was considering hiring private security guards to protect her and her family. She tried asking Savannah to borrow money from her husband but Savvy said she couldn’t do it because her husband was still furious over losing the investment deal with Camila.
In the emergency room, the surgeons worked on Neil and Cassie. While Daniela slept at the mansion, Hector broke into her room. He stared at her for a while, placed a flower on her and slipped away. The next morning, a doctor informed Romina that her daughter and brother were now safe and stable. Mina thanked her and asked to see them.
Daniela woke up to find the flower Hector had left behind. Neil and Cassie were now conscious and being taken care of. Bonita revealed to Romina that Robert was the one who had asked Bernard to warn them about Hector’s plan. The police came to announce that based on their investigation, the bomb had exploded in their bag, and Romina told them that someone had switched it.
“Then that means…”
“My family was purposely targeted,” Romina finished. “There’s someone who wants us all dead.”
As Daniela confronted the working staff over the flower she had found earlier, she received another mocking call from Hector. Meanwhile, Bernard updated Robert on his family’s current condition. Robert was certain that Hector was behind the bombing.
The police had reviewed the CCTV footage and identified the man who had switched her bag. The video had showed him talking to another man, and Romina identified him. “He is Alvin Mangubat. Do everything you can to catch him. I almost lost my daughter and brother. Alvin needs to pay.”
Daniela told her father that she needed to hire extra security because Hector was threatening her and had even broken into the mansion. Robert agreed, but insisted on having Bernard handle the finances.
Alvin learns of the Mondragons’ survival. He’s famous and wanted much more than eber.
Meanwhile, Hector played dumb when the police questioned him about it. Just then, he received a call from his brother which he didn’t really respond to, claiming that the caller had hanged up. After the officers left, Alvin called again and Hector scolded him for failing and ordered him to keep his head low for the moment.
Roh-mina ran into Nanny Esther at the hospital, who told her of the difficulties at the mansion and Daniela’s plan to hire more guards since someone had broken in mansion recently. Later, Romina went to the mansion and payed off the staff, suggesting that they find another job since their salaries weren’t really guaranteed at the mansion anymore.
Daniela walked in on the scene and started trading words with Romina, threatening to sue her if she didn’t get out of ‘her property’.
“I’m still the owner of this mansion,” Mina taunted. “You should be grateful I’m letting you stay for free. You’re so scared of sleeping here now that you hired more security guards. Who would have thought that even demons get scared too? The devil is afraid of their own neighbor. I’ll wait for the both of you to destroy each other.”
Robert was determined to protect his family from Hector. Waldo suggested that he file an appeal for his case since he was rich and had brilliant lawyers. Robert wasn’t up for the idea. He told the older man that Romina wouldn’t forgive him if he did that.
“But if you don’t act now, something worse might happen to them. How can they forgive you if they’re already dead?”
Daniela was heading to her car which was parked at the mansion’s entrance. She was talking to Savannah over the phone when Alvin came out of nowhere and knocked her cold with the butt of a handgun.
