‎Shatta Wale Will Upstage Pastors If He Starts A Church— Brother Sammy ‎

Date:

Fast-rising gospel singer Samuel Opoku, known widely as Brother Sammy, has prophesied that Shatta Wale will amass a crowd when he sets up a gospel ministry in Ghana.

According to him, the dancehall musician will overthrow all the reigning pastors in Ghana with the various generous projects which have won him souls across the country.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with Max Morning Show in Accra on Monday, Brother Sammy stated that the gigantic crowd which graced the 41st birthday celebration and concert of Shatta Wale was a testimony of the god’s work he has been doing.

‎”Shatta is the person doing the work of God. He will continue to pull the crowd. Let Shatta Wale set up a church here in Ghana; he will get the masses on his side than any other pastor in Ghana,” he said.

Brother Sammy stated that Shatta Wale knew how to win souls, and only those with prophetic and divine calls from God could do such work.

‎”Because Shatta knows how to win souls. Shatta is a Pastor, any giver is a head pastor. Let him set up a church ministry; you will see that all the people including prostitutes, arm robbers and criminals will go to the church because they know Shatta Wale doesn’t sideline any humans,” he added.

His comments come after tens of thousands of fans filled the Black Star Square in Accra to the gills on Saturday, October 18, 2025, for Shatta Wale’s much-anticipated birthday concert.

Dubbed “Shatta Fest 2025 x Shattabration: The King Calls” the event saw performances from Sarkodie, Samini, Wendy Shay, Medikal, Kelvynboy, Amerado, DarkoVibes, Tinny, JZyNo, Kwame Yogot and DopeNation, among a blizzard of other top music stars.

Each act thrilled the crowd with energetic performances that kept the atmosphere electric throughout the night.

Shatta Wale also used the occasion to honored rapper Tinny with a citation and an emotional tribute for supporting him during his early days in music.

He also played peacemaker between Nigerian influencers Peller and Big Jiggy, calling them on stage to reconcile and shake hands.
