Controversial gospel singer, Brother Sammy, has emphatically stated that marriage benefits women rather than men.
According to him, the investment and sacrifices men make for the family in respect to marriage are never reciprocated by women when they become richer than their husbands.
Speaking in an exclusive interview with Max Morning Show in Accra on Monday, Brother Sammy stated that men who are unfortunate enough for their wives to get richer than them suffer in silence.
”They will be washing pants, cleaning the house and enduring various insults from the wives, but when the man gets rich, they even employ housemaids and servants to serve their wives. Marriage only benefits women,” he emphasised.
Brother Sammy maintained that there was no balance in marriage and much of the effort to keep the marriage afloat was put in by the men, stressing that ”marriage helps women not men.”
