Self acclaimed Dancehall King, Shatta Wale has cursed all those who he claimed sabotaged his inclusion in the biggest birthday party organized by the Ghanaian billionaire Richard Nii-Armah Quaye “#RNAQ40” over the weekend.
According to him, some of his colleagues went behind him to charge an amount of $200,000 to perform at the 40 years birthday party of Nii-Armah Quaye which was held at the independence square.
In a social media post, Shatta Wale stated that when he was billed to perform at the party, he charged $600,000 just like the Tanzanian musician Diamond Platinum.
However, some of his colleagues like Sarkodie and Stonebwoy after seeing his post went behind him to charge below the amount he requested and they took just $200,000.
Shatta Wale went further to do a live video on Facebook to curse all individuals who he believed sabotaged him.
He said they would have a running stomach as they did not want the Ghana industry to excel.
Shatta Wale expressed disappointment in his colleagues for allowing Nigerian and foreign African musicians to charge higher than them.
It was asserted that Nigerian musician Davido charged $500,000 while King Promise took $120,000 and Kidi $15,000.
Shatta Wale maintained that if musicians knew their worth and held each other’s back, they would not be given a meagre amount when they were billed together with foreign African musicians.
