Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu has reached a new milestone in his recovery.
Sidelined for several months after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rupture last January, the AS Monaco player has returned to training on the pitch.
The Monaco club has seen their Ghanaian international take his first sessions with the ball back on the grass, a clear sign of positive progress in his rehabilitation process.
Although no specific timetable has been announced for his official return to competition, this gradual comeback marks an encouraging step forward for the 27-year-old.
Injured during the season, Mohammed Salisu was forced to cut short his campaign with Monaco.
His absence also complicated the plans of the Ghanaian national team, which had hoped to count on his defensive experience for upcoming international fixtures.
