Quamina MP addresses the collapse of Ground Up Chale

Date:

Musician Quamina MP says he doesn’t know if Ground Up Chale, a talent recruiting and music managing platform which gave him his biggest hit in the music industry has collapsed.

According to him, after he parted ways with the talent agency, he is unaware of how it is faring in the industry.

Speaking exclusively with Max Drive in Accra on Tuesday, the “Wiase” hitmaker stated that he was currently available for any record deal.

He said bagging a record deal would enhance his craft and reduce his workload.

“The record labels do a great job. If I get a record label right now it will reduce my workload and I will concentrate on the creative side so I am open to any label to sign me,” he said.

Quamina MP indicated that during the time with Ground Up, he was paying for everything that was pertaining to his music while the talent agency provided him with the biggest platform to excel in his career.

He further stated that all the money he was making from his music under Ground Up went to him directly except the streaming and downloading site.

“For the streaming, they strike their percentage from it,” however, Quamina MP did not disclose the percentage that the talent agency took from the money.
