MTN FA CUP: Okwahu United Confident of Win, Aims for Final- Nana Kwame Dankwa

The General Manager of Okwahu United and Vice Chairman of the National Circles Council (NCC) of Asante Kotoko, has expressed confidence in his team’s ability to overcome Attram De Visser Academy in their upcoming MTN FA Cup clash.

Speaking ahead of the highly anticipated match, he revealed that his primary goal is to not only secure victory but also to push his side to the final of the competition, where they can show the footballing spirit and tenacity that has defined Okwahu United in the past.

“We are confident of winning against Attram De Visser in the MTN FA Cup, and our eyes are firmly set on reaching the final,” he said. “This competition is a great opportunity for us to showcase the fighting spirit we’ve always had in Okwahu United. We aim to demonstrate that same resilience and determination that has been a hallmark of our club’s history.”

The manager also took the opportunity to express his gratitude to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for their recent donation of buses, which will significantly enhance the club’s logistics and overall preparation. He emphasized that the donation is a timely boost and will help to ease the challenges of transportation, allowing the team to focus more on their performances and achieving their goals.

“We are extremely grateful to the GFA for their generous donation of buses. This support means a lot to us as it will go a long way in easing our travel arrangements. The buses will ensure that we travel in comfort and style to away matches, which will allow us to focus fully on our football,” he stated. “We are ready to make the most of this opportunity and aim to satisfy the expectations of our supporters and stakeholders.”

Looking ahead to the MTN FA Cup, the Okwahu United General Manager reiterated that the club’s commitment to success is unwavering, and they are prepared to give their all in the upcoming fixtures. “This is an exciting time for Okwahu United, and we are ready to make a statement in this year’s MTN FA Cup,” he concluded.

With the backing of the GFA and a strong squad, Okwahu United’s ambitions are clear: they are determined to reach the final of the prestigious competition and recapture the glory days that once defined their club.
