Real Madrid ended Barcelona’s perfect start to the league season, with Kylian Mbappé scoring both goals for the visitors.

Jose Mourinho celebrated his team’s dramatic victory over Barcelona by sending a sarcastic message to the Barcelona fans who had barraged his hotel hours before the game to disturb him.

The Portuguese coach jokingly dedicated the victory to them: “I dedicate this win to the Barça fans who did not let me take my nap in the hotel today.”

The Portuguese manager clearly enjoyed having the final word after a tense evening.

Real Madrid’s victory reduced their deficit to Barcelona in LaLiga from six points to three.
