Max Morning: How to Establish Work-Life Balance – Professor Kwasi Amponsah

Date:

Professor Kwasi Amponsah, during his interview on the Max Morning Show, expressed his perspective on the similarities between the fatherhood experience and his role as a professor. He highlighted that both involve guiding and training younger individuals to follow the right path and become responsible adults.

According to Professor Amponsah, fatherhood encompasses a mix of positive, negative, and challenging aspects. He acknowledges that it is not always an easy journey but emphasizes the importance of facing and overcoming these challenges. In his view, men who demonstrate courage are those who have navigated through various obstacles in life and have reached a certain level of personal growth and responsibility.

As an educator with twelve years of experience, Professor Amponsah finds fulfillment in witnessing his students excel and evolve into the best versions of themselves. This sense of pride comes from the knowledge that he has played a role in their development and success.

In terms of fatherhood, Professor Amponsah believes in open communication with children. He emphasizes the importance of sharing life experiences and lessons with them. For instance, he mentioned that performing household tasks like picking up plates and washing them after meals does not diminish one’s masculinity. On the contrary, he believes that engaging in such activities as a man instills important life principles in male children.

Professor Amponsah encourages men in society to take full responsibility for their actions, particularly in the context of fatherhood. He emphasizes the significance of instilling discipline, teaching, and guiding children to help them grow into responsible individuals.
