David took Jia out to tour Singapore, accompanied by his mother, Helen and best friend. During the ride, David expressed his disappointment in Dana for changing her mind. Jia tried to explain that Dana changed her mind easily and asked David to give her some time to think things over.
Dana tried to call David while on her way to the airport but he did not pick her calls. When she got off the car, she realized that she was spotting and went to the hospital. She also called Jia to tell her what happened.
Adam and Lucy were with Jia at the hospital and the doctor assured them that both Dana and the baby were fine. She said that Dana should avoid getting stressed. Dana told her parents that she missed David.
When Jia returned to the Philippines, she went to the hospital with David. He was glad to hear Dana was fine but he once again asked for her parents to let him marry her. He added that he did not want any money from them.
After Dana was discharged, Jia brought her some food from Kai. Dana interrogated Jia about why she was with David. Jia said she was in Singapore for an interview and ran into him. Dana asked if it was destiny for them to meet. Jia said they were destined to meet so that she could bring David back to Dana. Dana asked if Jia liked David and she answered “Yes”. She explained that she liked David for Dana.
To gain Adam and Lucy’s approval, David signed a prenuptial agreement. Adam was impressed with him and finally allowed him to marry Dana. Helen came from Singapore to meet the Wongs and Adam thanked her for raising David well.
The Wongs and Chaos visited a shaman at the temple to get Dana’s and David’s fortunes read. The shaman said that the two were a good match but they should not marry because they were cursed.
Lucy got scared with what the shaman said and wanted to cancel the wedding. Adam however said that there was no such thing as a curse and they would proceed with the wedding. Lucy had nightmares about the curse and worried about Dana.
Jia received an email saying that she had gotten the job in Singapore. She told Adam about it but he was upset with her for deciding to leave Dragon Empire Builders.
David and Dana had a beautiful wedding with their friends and families in attendance. After the wedding, they immediately left for the honeymoon. They hadn’t gone far when they got into an accident with an oncoming truck.
They were immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. David was okay with only minor injuries but Dana’s situation was serious. She lost the baby and the doctor said she had a brain hemorrhage. Lucy blamed Adam for not heeding the shaman’s warning and letting Dana get married.
Dana’s situation remained delicate and Adam asked to have her transferred abroad for better treatment. The doctor however refused to let him do it because Dana might get worse if she was moved. Meanwhile, Lucy had Dana moved to a private room and had it redecorated in anticipation of her waking up.
