Adam spoke with Lucy and Kai and they agreed to carry out the DNA results without telling Jia and Dana. They would discuss what to do after they found out whether Michael was Jia’s son.
When Jia returned to work, she confronted Amanda for stealing her designs. Amanda denied it by saying that she was a renowned interior designer.
Jia told her not to ruin her reputation by stealing her work since she would not let it slide the second time. Dana defended Amanda but warned her against stealing Jia’s work because Adam would defend her.
Adam received flowers since he too was back from work. He called Lucy to thank her for sending them to him but she said that she never sent him flowers. Lucy called Kai to reprimand her for sending flowers to Adam but she too said that she didn’t sent them.
Adam was shocked after speaking to Lucy and decided to check the card. He found out they were from Amanda. She was at his office to see him and informed him that she was working there as an interior designer. When Lucy arrived, Adam asked why she hired someone else when they already had Jia. Lucy explained that she did not want their projects delayed if Jia got sick again. She also asked Amanda not to go to the executive floor because she had no reason to be there.
Adam got to meet Gab, Amanda’s son, during a meeting. Gab was nervous when he saw Adam and could barely be coherent. Adam was disappointed and asked that he prepare for his presentation better for the next time.
Helen went to visit Kai at her house and saw the baby’s urn. She tried to get Kai to explain but Kai would not tell her anything. She also found out that Jia had cancer. When she went home, she told David everything.
Michael was not going to school so Dana took him to the office with her. She left for a meeting and asked Michael to stay in the office. Michael eventually got bored and went out. He ran into Jia in the elevator and were together when it malfunctioned. Michael was scared and had an asthma attack. Jia took care of him until the elevator was fixed and they were able to get out.
Jia received an anonymous message telling her that she had to take back her son from her family. She put the pieces together and concluded that Michael could be her son. She went to talk to Adam about it and he had no other option but to tell her what Harry had confessed. Adam asked for Manny’s help and the two brought Jia and Michael to a DNA clinic to get tested.
Lucy was nervous and tried to find out the name of the clinic where the DNA was done but no one would tell her. She therefore went to see Manny and he realized that she was hiding something since she went through so much trouble to stop the DNA test. Lucy told Manny the truth and said she would lose her husband and daughter if they found out the truth.
Adam had to leave the city to resolve a problem for a big project. When he was away, he asked Manny to get the DNA test. When he came back, everyone gathered to read the test but it turned out to be negative. Lucy was happy because it meant Harry was lying about paying her for Jia’s baby. Dana found out everything after she walked in on the meeting. She also found out that Jia had David’s son and slapped Jia. She was also relieved because she would not lose Michael.
Jia was hurt and frustrated about what happened. She however asked for Adam’s help to find her son because it meant he was still alive. Adam beat up Harry for lying to them and causing a mess within the family but Harry stuck to his story. Jia was disappointed as well and said she would take Harry to prison.
Amanda befriend one of the workers at the office and found out all the gossip at the office from her. She found out about Michael’s DNA and Jia’s affair with David. She later told Gab that they had to wait for the Wong Drama to end before they told Adam that Gab was his son.
Lucy was not at ease even after the results came back negative because Adam had decided to keep looking for Jia’s son and he might end up learning the truth.
