Patrick tried to deposit the cheque that Dana gave for 270 Million for Jia. He was however unable to do it because Dana cancelled the cheque. He told David and was worried about Jia but David said that he would be the one to tell her.
The board members asked Jia if she was okay with leaving Lucy and Dana in charge. They thought she was being pressured to give up her position but Jia said it is what she wanted.
Dana asked for the CCTV footage of everyone who welcomed Jia back into the company and had all of them fired. They told Jia what happened and she told Dana to hire all of them back. Dana said she would not do what Jia asked. Jia therefore threatened to have her demoted from her position since she was the president. Dana had no choice but to let all the employees back.
Jia later had a press conference and made it clear that Dragon Builders was not for sale. Lucy was upset because they would no longer be able to find buyers. She also spoke to Dana and asked her to let Jia be for the time being because she had more power.
Simon received an anonymous message saying that Dana was hiding message. Gab and Amanda were the ones who sent it. Simon called the number back but they did not answer. Amanda bought tickets in case he and Gab had to escape.
Jia found a hard drive in Dana’s office and suspected that she was the one who hid it. Simon arrived and said that he received a tip about Dana hiding the evidence. Dana claimed that Jia planted it there in order to accuse her. They decided to look at the CCTV footage and saw a masked man enter Dana’s office. He bumped into David so they called him to identify the man.
They concluded that the man could be Gab and tried looking for him. David was however unable to confirm it was Gab because the man he ran into had a bigger build. Gab had worn more clothes to appear bigger.
Amanda still refused to leave without the inheritance. She made a new plan with Gab to accuse Lucy so they both went to the police station. Amanda claimed that she went to Dragon Empire and heard Lucy arguing with Adam. She got upset when she read the will and demanded that he change it. When Adam refused, she took his gun and shot him.
Because of Amanda’s statement, Lucy was arrested and charged with Adam’s murder.
