The seasoned and experienced Black Stars players have been charged to exude leadership and commitment ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
John Kwasi Adu, the Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani Gold Stars, called on players like Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey, and Alexander Djiku to give it all for mother Ghana.
The Black Stars are scheduled to take on Chad and Mali in the next round of matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup on September 4 and 8, respectively.
Speaking to Nana Darkwa Gyasi on Max FM’s Sports Pack, he said, “For me, experienced players like Kudus, Partey, Jordan Ayew, and others must show character and commitment. The players should die for Ghana.”
The Black Stars will host Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium, hoping to all but secure a spot at the global showpiece, after their date with Chad.
