Arsenal Show Interest in Caleb Yirenkyi

Date:

The English Daily Mail has reported Arsenal FC’s interest in signing Black Stars player Caleb Yirenkyi.

The versatile Ghanaian teenager has impressed so far since breaking into the FC Nordsjaelland first team last season.

Yirenkyi is a graduate of the renowned Right to Dream Academy, just like the likes of Mohammed Kudus and Simon Adingra, to name a few.

The Arsenal target made his debut for the Black Stars in May 2025, drawing plaudits for his energetic displays down the wing as a right wing-back.

Drawing an enviable comparison with Ghana and Chelsea legend Michael Essien, Yirenkyi is certainly one the Gunners would be monitoring to add to their squad.

He has been named by Black Stars head coach Otto Addo in the squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali.
