King Promise adjudged Afrobeat as the biggest genre in the world

The multiple award-winning Ghanaian artiste, King Promise, has confirmed that Afrobeat is the biggest music genre that is breaking boundaries on the international market.

According to him, many Afrobeat musicians had gained international recognition, contributing to its status as the biggest genre in the world currently.

Speaking in an interview with Billboard, King Promise stated that Afrobeat has rich lyrical content and has spread rapidly through digital platforms and social media, making it accessible to a vast audience.

“Afrobeat has gradually become the biggest genre in the world, and I think everybody can concur as to the fact that it’s taking over, not just because it makes you feel good by even content-wise, that we just like to feel good to our music. and Sound Life as well; just amazing, bro.

“It’s perfect. There is music for every hour, every time, every feeling, and, yeah, man, as well as sauce everybody can compare,” he explained.

The “Terminator” crooner said the collaboration between various African and international artistes was evidence that Afrobeat has become the world-acclaimed genre.

Meanwhile, Afrobeats has gained recognition from mainstream media, with artistes like Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Tiwa Savage winning international awards and receiving significant acclaim.

Currently, the likes of King Promise, among other promising international artistes, have sustained the statues performing on big stages across the continents to further enhance its global reach.
