Black Sherif hits 500m streams on Boomplay

Date:

Rapper Black Sherif is still cementing his name in the history of local entertainment as the only Ghanaian artist to hit a total stream of 500 million on the major streaming platform, Boomplay.

The Kilos Milos feat is announced by Boomplay in a post on X, formerly Twitter, to congratulate his special accomplishment.

“KILOS MILLIONS. Special congratulations to Iron Boy, the pacesetter,  @blacksherif_ and fans for hitting a record of 500 million total streams on #Boomplay,” the streaming platform announced.

Black Sherif’s songs have become an instant hit ever since he made his grand entry in the industry as a professional musician.

His style, flow, and fashion quickly gained traction on social media, propelling him to fame.

Born Mohammed Ismail Sherif Kwaku Frimpong, Black Sherif made his debut appearance on the entertainment scene in 2021 with his breakthrough single “First Sermon.”

Due to the success of that single, he followed up with “Second Sermon” to solidify his status as a budding young talent.

His series of successful hit tracks had won him several accolades and had made him a force to be reckoned with as far as the industry is concerned.
