Eric Alagidede has officially stepped down from his role as General Manager of Ghana FA Cup champions Nsoatreman, according to reports.
His resignation follows the club’s inconsistent start to the season, with Nsoatreman currently positioned 11th on the Ghana Premier League table after managing only three wins.
Alagidede, who was appointed in July 2023, leaves behind a commendable legacy despite the team’s recent struggles. Under his stewardship, Nsoatreman achieved significant milestones both on and off the pitch.
The club secured their first-ever major trophy by winning the FA Cup last season, a historic triumph that also earned them a debut appearance in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Beyond their on-field success, Alagidede was instrumental in enhancing Nsoatreman’s profile and brand appeal. Through innovative leadership and strategic initiatives, he increased the club’s visibility, attracting greater attention from fans and key stakeholders.
Prior to joining Nsoatreman, Alagidede brought valuable experience, having served as Chief Executive of Koforidua Suhyen Sporting Club and Communications Manager for Ghana Premier League side Karela United.
His departure signals the end of a transformative era for Nsoatreman. The club now faces the critical task of identifying a qualified successor capable of maintaining their growth trajectory while addressing their current challenges.
