Akosua Serwah Fosuh, the first wife of the late legendary highlife musician Charles Kwadwo Fosuh, known by his stage name Daddy Lumba, has held a solemn ceremony to mark the one-year anniversary of her late husband.
The solemn event was held at her German residence to bring her loved ones together.
She held a candlelight vigil and was supported by her two female children she had with the late musician as well as loved ones in Germany.
Her first son, Kweku Oppong Schindler, also shared a heartfelt message with his mother, marking the event.
Kweku Oppong pledged his support for his mother and believed his mother would gain the justice her soul desired.
He also thanked all those who had supported his mother throughout the time Daddy Lumba died and asked God’s blessings upon them, most especially the family of Lumba who had joined clothes with Akosua Serwah to prove her as the soul of the late musician.
Kweku Oppong observed that his mother passed through an emotional breakdown and the help of God had saved her life.
Daddy Lumba died on July 25, 2025, and his death had led to lots of misunderstanding and legal battles between his family and the woman he had six children with when he lived in Ghana.
His immediate family is also in court demanding the former family Head Tupac known in private life as Kofi Owusu Boahen to account for the funeral he held for the musician in December.
