JUST IN: Ben Nunoo Mensah Chairs GBA Election Committee

The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) has named Ben Nunoo Mensah as Chair of its newly constituted Election Committee ahead of the upcoming GBA Executive Elections scheduled for May 2025.

The five-member committee is tasked with overseeing a transparent and credible electoral process in line with the GBA’s constitution.

Full Committee List:

  1. Ben Nunoo Mensah – Chairman
  2. Sam Laryea Esq. – Secretary
  3. Joshua Clottey – Member
  4. Alhaji Moshud Zaid – Member
  5. Lord Acquaye – Member

With decades of leadership experience in sports administration, Nunoo Mensah is expected to bring integrity and professionalism to the process. The committee will supervise nominations, manage the voting process, and officially declare results.

The GBA has called on all stakeholders to cooperate with the committee and uphold the principles of fairness and transparency.

“We are committed to delivering a free and fair election that reflects the collective voice of the boxing community,” said the GBA Communications Directorate.
