IMAX Media to broadcast CAF African Schools Football Championship

IMAX Media have been awarded the rights to broadcast to Ghanaians, Africans, and million across the globe, the CAF African Schools Football Championship.

This is the third edition of the under-15 championship organized by the Confederation of African Football, and is set to kick off in Accra at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.

The championship begins Wednesday, April 23, and will climax on Saturday, April 26. There would be off-field activities for the participating countries with CAF-appointed mentors.

Winners of either boys or girls categories would bag USD300,000 while the runners-up receive USD 200,000 and third-place, USD 150,000.

Girls Qualified Teams: Ghana, Benin, DR Congo, Gambia, Malawi, Morocco, South Africa, Uganda

Boys Qualified Teams: Ghana, Algeria, Cote d’Ivoire, DR Congo, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda
